Artist's proof etching of Ludgate Hill. 

 

The image shows the railway bridge on the route from Holborn to Blackfrairs crossing Fleet Street. St. Paul's is in the distance. The spire of St. Martin's, Ludgate,  a church rebuilt by Wren after the Great Fire of London, can be seen  in front of St. Paul's, London. The railway bridge was demolished in 1990.
