Mabel Lucie Attwell illustration of the story of Peter Pan
 
J M Barrie first published Peter Pan and Wendy in 1911. These illustrations probably come from an edition that was publisheda decade later and was illustrated by Mabel Lucie Attwell. J.M. Barrie insisted that Hodder and Stoughton approach Attwell to provide illustrations to a new version of his Peter Pan and Wendy. , Her drawings of Peter and Wendy are charming.
