The Palace of Whitehall: Published May 1st 1809
This engraving from the Palace of Whitehall is from a drawing by Hollar in the 1620s, this is an illustration, 'plate 111', for an later antiquarian work. It has a descriptive caption and shows the Banqueting Hall on the left, the Holbein Gate on the right, a four-bay building linking the two and a wall on the right along what would now be the north side of Whitehall. Beyond that is the land which is now the location now for Horse Guards.
